Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what personal data EasyLegionella collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

EasyLegionella is a self-serve Legionella compliance platform. For any privacy matter, you can contact us at hello@easylegionella.com.

What data we collect

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how our site is used so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner — by default, analytics storage is denied. GA4 collects anonymised data such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and the source that brought you to us. It does not identify you personally.

Cookies

Our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, GA4 cookies are used solely to measure and improve the site. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site, which will make the banner reappear.

Email marketing (Brevo)

If you join our mailing list, your email address is stored and processed using Brevo, our email service provider, so we can send you updates about EasyLegionella. We will never sell your data. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Legal basis for processing

How long we keep your data

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it promptly. Anonymised analytics data is retained in line with Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Sharing your data

We only share data with the service providers named in this policy (Google Analytics and Brevo), and only so they can provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email hello@easylegionella.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. The "last updated" date above will always show the current version.
